INABILITY TO TACKLE CORRUPTION IN KENYA AFFECTING KENYA'S GROWTH
A wide spread corruption creates unfavorable environment for business. No investor would want to invest in a country that cannot have their own funds managed.Nobody wants to lose their money once invested they all want to see benefits. This bring the country's unavailability of money, they country can not get loans from others due to risk of losing money.
Corruption slows down the delivery of public services such as healthcare and education. They would be inadequate money to fund the schools and healthcare if the funds meant for the public services is taken through corruption practices.there services are meant for the people and build the nation, if they are not handled with immediate effect the country falls with nothing to have improved hence no growth.
Moving to the next level to get to get to where other countries are is not easy with the rampancy of corruption around. If we are not able to develop as fast as we can we will always remain where we are.Projects being delayed due to no funds where by funds were given out soon. Our roads and dams are one evidence of public fund taken. It takes long for them to be made and even when made some are of low quality due to get the cheapest materials ending up making weak infrastructure .These infrastructures within a short term they fade and some kill and cause accidents.
Corruption brings poverty. The fact that the public funds are siphoned off through corruption brings the country to a difficult state of creating jobs. These projects to be done by the people are delayed and some end up not done yet there was funds given for them. The people move to making money through stealing since they are idle and no one to give out the jobs. The people have to right to work for what they believe will help them in future.with this they will find something to keep them busy and not think of theft or corruption and build the country.
When the people realize there is no transparency in their government they lose their trust in them.Their confidence between the citizens and leaders fade away.Their would be political instability and loss of faith with the government's ability to address issues.
Corruption hinders many things to go on in a country let only growth. It won't be able to dealt with within a day but if our leaders choose to work on the matter so will the citizens be able to deal with the issues outside. It is with good connection and teamwork with the people will this mule taken out for good.Everyone deserves to see a better tomorrow but if we keep on repeating the same thing each day without action nothing will be solved. We need to create conducive environment for ourselves and generations to come.
Good one
